After a full year of dedication and hard work, the teachers of St. George’s School were treated to a well-deserved evening of appreciation at the school’s annual staff dinner. Held on 22nd November 2025 at the Radisson Hotel, the event brought together teachers, staff and the School Board of Governors for a night filled with camaraderie and gratitude. The event opened with welcoming speeches from Principal Janidi Jingan and the Chairperson of the School Board, Anthony Liew, setting a warm tone for the night before guests enjoyed a festive dinner and a lively round of the ‘Signature Bingo’ game.

A highlight of the evening was the fashion show, followed by a series of meaningful presentations. Certificates for excellent achievements were awarded, along with long-service awards recognising dedicated staff members, including Rebecca Elicay for 10 years of service and Head of Primary, Alice Ting, for an outstanding 30 years. A special farewell tribute was also presented to the Deputy Principal, N.M. Mubarak, who has served the school with commitment and passion for 28 years. The segment featured a heartfelt video and the presentation of two appreciation gifts.

The celebration continued with the awarding of the Best Dressed Male and Female, followed by an exciting lucky draw that brought much cheer to the crowd. The event concluded with a closing speech by the Chairperson of the Staff Welfare Committee, who thanked everyone for their hard work and contributions throughout the year. The evening served as a heartfelt reminder of the strong community spirit that continues to inspire and uplift the school.
