On the 11th of September 2025, St. George’s School held its Entrepreneur Day, organised by the Humanities Department. As the clock struck nine, even the light rain of the morning could not dull the excitement as students poured out of their classrooms in anticipation for what waited them outside.
Beneath a canopy of tents, the school compound had became a bustle of activities as budding entrepreneurs hawked their wares to the eager crowds before them. The fair consisted of a wide assortment of 21 stalls, run entirely by students from Year 9 and 10, selling food, drinks, accessories, and arts and crafts, including a special art exhibition that showcased the creativity and talent of Year 10 Arts students. The event provided a proper platform for students to cultivate entrepreneurial skills, inspire creativity and innovation, and strengthen the school community.
Of course, everyone was welcomed to join in the fair. Parents, relatives, and even visitors from other schools joined in, turning the day into a lively bonding experience for everyone.
This has been St. George's School's 3rd Entrepreneur Day, and it is safe to say that it has now become an annual tradition to look forward to. The enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork displayed by the students were truly inspiring, and this event will continue to nurture future young entrepreneurs at St. George’s School.
