On the 27th of September 2022, St. Georges School held its Teacher's Day Celebration. The event was held at the parish hall and was attended by the Chairman of the School Board, Anthony Liew, Principal Janidi Jingan, Deputy Principal N.M. Mubarak, Head of Primary Alice Ting, teachers and students of the primary section.
The event commenced with the singing of the National Anthem followed by the school song and the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah by Ustaz Mohiddin. Principal Janidi Jingan then gave his opening speech in which he touched on the theme for this year's Teacher Day - Quality Teachers Lead to the Transformation of Education, and also presented a brief history on the earliest Teacher's Day celebrations in Brunei. A Year 6 representative, Ahmad Hassan, was then invited to give a speech on behalf of all students.
A number of performances then followed, which included an opening dance by Year 5 students, a song number by Abigail of Year 6, a story-telling presentation by Venice of Year 5, a song performance by Year 2 students and a final dance performance by Year 6 students. The event came to a close with the presentation of tokens of appreciation for all the teachers and a final group photo.
