Our school teams were one of the finalists in the Secondary School Big 6 Acapella Patriotic Songs and Primary Schools Choir competitions organized by the Department of Co-Curriculums Department, Ministry of Education.
In the Preliminary rounds, there were 12 Secondary schools and 25 Primary Schools which took part in the competition. Only 6 schools from each group were selected to the final held on 01 May 2019. St George's School bagged and brought home 1st Runner Up for Secondary School Big 6 Acapella Patriotic Songs and 3rd Runner Up for the Primary School Choir competition respectively.
Congratulations to our dear St. Georgians for yet another achievement!
We will continue to encourage our students to participate in competitions like this, not only because they pride to our school, but also to boost our students' self-confidence and encourage their self-improvement.
