As part of the school's mission in helping the needy, especially when those in need are her own students, St. George's School today held an event to distribute monetary donation to some 25 orphans who comprise students from Kindergarten 1 until Year 11.
The event was held in the afternoon of 22 May 2019 at the Parish Hall, and attended by the Principal, teachers, parents and students. Principal Janidi Jingan presented monetary donations to the 25 orphans.
The monetary donation was the collective effort of the school community comprising teachers, staff, parents and students. With the approach of the Hari Raya Celebration, the principal hopes that the recipients would find the donation to be of substantial help in their preparation for Hari Raya.
